Turkey Guac Burger
This healthy, flavorful turkey burger is the perfect combination of lean protein, wholesome ingredients, and bold flavors. It’s not only satisfying but also a great option for boosting male fertility with its nutrient-rich ingredients.
Ingredients
- Olive oil spray
- 1 sprouted-grain hamburger bun
- 6 oz extra-lean ground turkey
- 1 egg white
- 2 tbsp whole-wheat breadcrumbs
- ¼ tsp garlic powder

- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 2 slices extra-lean turkey bacon, cut in half
- 1 slice light cheddar or Jack cheese
- ¼ cup mixed greens or other lettuce
- 1 slice tomato
- 2 tbsp guacamole (look for one with 4g of fat or less per 2 tbsp serving)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare for Cooking
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a medium baking sheet with nonstick foil and lightly mist with olive oil spray.
- Wrap the hamburger bun in foil to completely cover it.
Step 2: Form the Turkey Patty
- In a bowl, mix the ground turkey, egg white, whole-wheat breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt using a fork.
- Shape the mixture into a patty.
Step 3: Cook the Burger and Bacon
- Place the turkey patty, turkey bacon slices, and wrapped bun on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Flip the bacon and patty, then cook for an additional 6 minutes, until the turkey is just slightly pink inside.
Step 4: Add Cheese
- Remove the turkey bacon. Place a slice of cheese on top of the turkey patty and cook for another 2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the patty is no longer pink inside.
Step 5: Assemble the Burger
- Unwrap the bun.
- On the bottom half of the bun, layer the turkey patty, turkey bacon strips, lettuce, and tomato.
- Spread the guacamole over the underside of the top bun and place it on top of the burger.
Step 6: Serve
