Frozen Dark Chocolate Banana Bites

This easy 3-ingredient recipe combines the fertility-boosting benefits of bananas, dark chocolate, and walnuts into a delicious frozen treat. Each ingredient is packed with nutrients that support male reproductive health while satisfying your sweet tooth!

Ingredients (Serves 1-2; yields 30-40 pieces)

  • 3 ripened bananas, peeled and sliced into 1-inch thick pieces, frozen
  • 1 dark chocolate bar (3.5 oz, 70% cacao recommended) or substitute with milk chocolate
  • 1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 cup toasted walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bananas. Peel and slice the bananas into 1-inch thick rounds. Lay them on a wax paper-lined tray and freeze for at least 1 hour.

  2. Melt the Chocolate. Chop the chocolate bar into small pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then in 10-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. Mix in the melted coconut oil until smooth.

  3. Assemble the Bites. Remove frozen banana slices from the freezer. Using skewers or forks, dip each banana piece into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place the chocolate-coated banana on wax paper and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.

  4. Repeat and Set. Continue until all banana pieces are coated and topped with walnuts. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or return the bites to the freezer for storage.

  5. Serve. Eat immediately for a softer texture or store in the freezer. If too hard, leave them out at room temperature for a couple of minutes to soften slightly.

Fertility Benefits

  • Dark Chocolate: Contains L-Arginine HCL, an amino acid known to improve sperm count and motility.
  • Walnuts: High in omega-3 fatty acids, which enhance blood flow and improve sperm quality and morphology.

Enjoy these nutrient-packed bites as a healthy snack or dessert. They’re as beneficial as they are delicious! 🍌🍫🥜
