Carrot and Sweet Potato Mash

Scientists at Harvard University found that including more yellow and orange colored fruits and vegetables to the diet helped men improve sperm quality, particularly its ability to swim toward an egg. This super-easy and healthy side dish can be paired with a warming casserole or roast for a match made in male fertility heaven.

Ingredients

  • 500g carrots, chopped
  • 500g sweet potatoes, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, bashed
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds, toasted
  • 25g butter

Instructions

Put the carrots, sweet potatoes and garlic in a large pan of salted water, bring to the boil, then cook for 12 mins. Add cumin seeds, butter and seasoning, roughly mash, then serve immediately.
